DIRECTOR OF JEDIDIAH HOMES – ROBERT HARTMAN
Born in Memphis Tennessee, raised in Southern California, Rob sensed God’s call on his life from a young age.
He followed that call to Briercrest Bible College where he received a degree in Pastoral Ministry, and fell in love with a Canadian girl named Carla.  They have a beautiful 5 year old named after Memphis.  Rob was a youth pastor for 5 years in Regina before working in a group home with Ranch Ehrlo Society.  While working in the group home God captured his heart with a love for vulnerable youth and gave him the experience needed to take a unique opportunity with Youth For Christ in Regina.
Rob is managing a new initiative with RYFC, a group home for boys ages 12-15 called Jedidiah House.  Jedidiah House is a 24hr staffed peer home.  We have a beautiful 2300 sq. foot home in a great location of the city for these boys to live in.  Our staff are excellent men who have a passion for the Lord and for working with youth.  This is a huge project that we have seen God’s hand in from day one.  God is truly moving in a powerful way to reach some of the “least of these” in Regina, and we are blessed with the opportunity to be apart of what he is doing!
Working with RYFC has also enabled Robert to continue doing some of his other passions, like continuing to preach and teach God’s word in churches and share my heart and passion for our ministry, and be involved in some of our other initiatives like D4 our discipleship group for youth.
Rob also loves coaching High School Football.  He has coached at Martin collegiate for 7 years and last year began coaching defensive backs for the Campbell Collegiate Tartans 2010 City Champions.

DIRECTOR OF UTURN HOMES – WES DYNNA

Without sporting an earring, tattoo, or having an extensive grasp of ‘text’ lingo and ‘Apple’ computers, Wes has embarked on the thrill of a lifetime joining Regina YFC as Housing Director.

Having recently been conferred the distinguished role of grandfather, Wes enjoys and is enthralled by conversations with his grandson consisting of “woos and gurgles” very much! Married to his first wife, Jan, of thirty-five years, Wes discovered the secret of a long marriage very early in their relationship: He could be right or he could be happy. Wes is a happy, happy man!! He is still in recovery from being institutionalized for eleven years as a pastor in Winnipeg, Manitoba in the 20th century! The dynamic Saskatchewan citizens and climate are significantly aiding complete restoration, however.

The opportunity to impact young lives for Christ and work with young minds and missionaries is one that Wes treasures and values deeply.
