Uturn: God continues to bring us young people who need the love of God in their lives. We have youth struggling with deep hurts and pain. Please pray God will continue to reveal HIS love and purpose in their lives.
Coldest Night of the Year: On Saturday February 25, 2012 we are hosting a fundraising run/walk (2.5km, 5km, or 10km) for youth homelessness in Regina. Lamb’s Boxing Club: On Monday nights at the Rescue Mission Youth centre Aaron and his team will be doing a sports night. On Wednesdays Robert Rapply will be leading the “Hero’s program” to build life skills with youth. We will be looking for volunteers to get involved. Switchback: Last week, we encouraged our team to focus on the Christmas story in the midst of all the fun games and Christmas celebration. After the Christmas story was read a young lady gave her life to Christ after talking to a volunteer! These are the special moments God gives us as we work with young people in our city! Host Family wanted: a German YFC Volunteer: We are looking for a good family to host Christian from Germany. Christian comes from a farming family, has a desire to serve God, and learn better English. There is a small honorarium to cover room/board. Please contact James Clifford at James@yfcsask.com
Jedidiah House: The night before one boy left Jedidiah House. Our staff were reading the bible and praying with him before bed. He mentioned that he gave his heart to God and wanted to live for him! Continue to pray for the Jedidiah House Regina. The boys have been making poor choices and it is affecting everyone. We have 2 boys transitioning home and we pray it will be a successful move.
Moose Jaw Satellite: We have raised over to $2000 of the $5000 to get a new one installed. We are in need of a new furnace in Moose Jaw. The old one is over 30 years old has not been keeping the house warm. If you would like to partner with us on this project please visit www.yfcregina.com and click the donate button.
MJ Uturn: Uturn continues to be full in Moose Jaw. Our staff team are working out the system then need to make Uturn MJ successful. Out staff continue to build strong relationships with the youth as they help these youth move toward independence.
Uturn Build: We are still waiting on Saskpower to get the power trenched. We hope to have the power on next week so we can get the heat on! We hope to open March 31, 2012 with the 2 basement suites open July 2012.
The Battlefords Satellite: The first week with youth in the house have gone well. The training the staff received has prepared them well. We will be getting more youth after Christmas.
Last week we met with a local church who would like to partner with YFC to help run a youth centre in town. Please pray for wisdom as we grow the ministry in the Battlefords.

Regional Staff Conference: Regina YFC is hosting the Central region conference at Dallas Valley Ranch Camp January 16-18. We are expecting 50-70 people from across the prairies to join us. Please pray this will be a time of encouragement and teaching.
School ministry: Last week at Thom High school Byron brought his two year old son to day the Christmas story. From the mouths of babes God’s truth will be known. The team continues to see positive relationships built with youth.
